» Stakeholder Consultation on India-EU FTA in Services
The Department of Commerce, Government of India, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), and Centre for WTO Studies are jointly organising a 'Stakeholder Consultation on India-EU FTA in Services' on February 16, 2009, in Sigma Hall, Chancery Pavilion Hotel, 135 Residency Road, Bangalore-25. The India-EU High Level Trade Group (HLTG) stressed the importance of the services sector for both EU and India. The objective of the consultation is to assess the potential of providing R&D, IT & IT-ITes and Health Services in EU countries and also to understand the problems faced by Indian service providers in these service sectors in the EU.
