EFTA-India FTA
The third round of negotiations for a FTA between India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) will start on Monday, February 23, in New Delhi. Details of this meeting have not been made public yet. Indian, Swiss and Norwegian civil society groups have been working together since the beginning of the negotiations. In October last year, Indian activists were invited to Switzerland to share their concerns. A recent statement outlines these issues (Statement on EFTA-India FTA).
